Cabinets of Curiosity

The summer my son turned four he asked if he could do an exhibit where I worked. It just so happened that a few months before some flat cases were getting moved around and out of some other places of the library and I got to get them outside my office.

I try and keep a few cases outside my office full as kind of a window shopping experience so people who want to do an exhibit in the library can get a sense of what they look like with things in them. The others had now been rotated out the last three years by my son.

I am going to collect them here to keep track of what he’s done, and also chart the increased complexity and design/style changes he has made since he first started with a a few books and puzzles.
