What a summer of Wacky Races. We watched all the original series and all of the 2019 Boomerang Series as well. We also ventured across Arkansas ourselves to pick up our Count Car. I also still need to put together a post on Motor Movie Madness about all the racing films that came along in the vein of The Great Race.

We were also watching Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines (Stop the Pigeon!) and I was telling him about the movies they were based on and the spinoffs that came from Wacky Races themselves–Penelope Pitstop and The Flying Machines and how all that worked.

There isn’t much production material in this one as he was all laser focused on getting things in where he wanted and was willing to entertain photos only after it was done, he was too busy and needed my help.

For the other summer festivities he also has a Wacky Races themed birthday party because he was apparently turning six in 1969.
